Third party querying lets an authorized outside system ask who is present or nearest, and receive an answer, without being one of the two paired parties. It is a capability of the divisional patent US11392923B2.
The longer version
Third party querying opens the proximity method to more than a payer and a recipient. An authorized third system can ask the server about presence, for example to confirm who is at a location or which party is nearest, and act on the answer within its own permissions.
This matters for uses beyond a two sided payment. A safety service, a dispatcher, or a care system can rely on the same presence resolution the server already performs, without having to be part of the pairing itself.
This capability belongs specifically to the divisional patent US11392923B2. The divisional, granted 19 July 2022, adds third party querying alongside identification without payment and standalone device claims. It is not part of the parent patent.
The Parousya method
Third party querying is one of the three capabilities the Parousya divisional patent added. It lets an authorized system, outside the paying pair, ask the server about presence and use the result.
