In 2014, tapping a card was considered a major advance in payments. Arthur Argyropoulos thought that was the wrong question. The question was not how to make payment easier. It was whether payment needed to interrupt the experience at all, or could just happen in the background.
His background was in cybersecurity. He knew that if proximity alone was going to pair a customer with the right provider, a trusted third party had to sit in the middle. Not to hold money. To hold the match. To protect the customer's identity while guaranteeing the seller's payment. That insight became the architecture that Parousya's patents protect.
A second question came later, and it was more personal. Every night, people get into taxis without booking. No record of who they are, or which vehicle they are in. If something goes wrong, there is nothing for authorities to go back to. Arthur wanted to change this without removing privacy. The divisional patent's third party querying capability was designed for exactly this reason: so that a rider is never completely invisible to the world, while remaining private to the driver.
The patents were filed in 2014. Robotaxis were not yet commercial. Influencer commerce did not exist. The use cases the world is only now beginning to imagine were part of the architecture from the beginning.
